Experience
I enjoy tutoring because it brings joy to my life to help another the way I was helped with my studies. To be able to witness another learning and enjoying it in the process bring a smile to my face. Worked with children from ages five to fifteen as an assistant tutor at Score Educational Center for two years. There I tutored children in various lessons including reading, math, science, language arts, social studies and geography. I also provided additional assistance with their own school work. For multiple years I worked as a summer camp counselor with first grade and fifth grade girls. They were taught important lessons including honesty, respect, helping others and reaching their goals. While studying I volunteered to attend classes and lectures to students with disabilities. I provided thorough written explanations on the presented subjects. Throughout my studies, I assisted fellow classmates and friends by leading group study sessions, editing and writing college term papers in various subjects including Criminal Justice, Psychology, Business and English. My focus was Criminal Justice and in a majority of my courses my professor created exams based off my notes.
