As a clinical psychologist, I possess a strong fund of knowledge of human development and cognitive functioning. I utilize this knowledge in my tutoring work by teaching the academic material in a way that the individual can process it best. Every student is different and I relate information in a comprehensible and comprehensive manner. This philosophy also guides my professional teaching; I am an adjunct professor in William Paterson University's Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. I have nurtured my passion for teaching and helping others since childhood. My tutoring career began in the 6th grade as a "peer tutor" to other students in my elementary school. In the summer between 8th grade and high school, I taught computer classes to both children and adult at North Bergen's Public Library. I began to tutor privately beginning in late high school, and currently continue to tutor. Additionally, I am fully bilingual in Spanish (native speaker) and can tutor monolingual Spanish-speakers.
